Description:
Duralee is one of the top four fabric distributors in the U.S.
(the other four being Kravet, Robert Allen and Fabricut). The company
offers a nice selection of chenille, velvet, cotton and linen fabric. In
addition to the basic line, Duralee also offers a higher end collection called
Highland Court (very expensive but also very nice!).
The company sells to the trade only. Based in New York, Duralee has
several satellite showrooms throughout the US, most located in design centers.
Duralee also offers trim, wallpaper and furniture in addition to the
basic fabric line. The company offers special treatment to fabric
at an additional cost such as teflon treament on fabric (to prevent
stain and soil), flameproofingg for fabric, proseal for delicate fabric
such as silk and chintz, and knitbacking for delicate fabric being used
for upholstery.
